A lot of questions before the start of training? There were all of the answers at the Parents' Night.
The start of their training is an important moment for young people, with a lot of excitement and, of course, a little bit of uncertainty. This makes it all the more important that their parents can provide advice and assistance to them in order to master the first weeks and months together. We therefore organize an annual Parents' Night with the most important information about Vetter as an employer and the start of training.
On Wednesday, July 17, the time came again: around 42 parents gathered in the reception area of the Ravensburger Headquarters to learn more about their children's training from 6 to 8 p.m. They received a lot of important information and tips for an optimal start.
At the beginning, Managing Director Peter Sölkner personally welcomed the parents. This underlines the high priority that young people have to us. The trainers then introduced themselves. Finally, the aim of the event is to provide the most comprehensive picture of our company and the relevant employees. Of course, this also includes the framework conditions: that is why the parents were given a guided tour of our modern technical training center. They were then able to have face-to-face conversations with our trainers, to ask their questions or to talk to each other. Small snacks and drinks provided a relaxed and inviting setting.
We are sure that this year’s Parents’ Night has brought back important insights – and are already looking forward to the next one in summer 2025.
