Vetter celebrates – and everyone is coming
All we are, the great successes we have achieved, thanks to our more than 6,600 employees, their commitment and their cohesion. As a sign of gratitude and to celebrate these successes together, our management, together with the Vetter families, invited all employees and their families to the Vetter Family Festival. On Saturday, July 13, the Vetter Family Festival was held under the motto “We are family”. More than 12,000 guests came and spent a busy day at the Friedrichshafen convention center grounds.
From cotton candy to a Ferris wheel
The convention center grounds turned into a huge fair for all generations: food trucks, beer gardens, lounge areas, party areas with live music and DJs – but also numerous attractions that delighted the many children and young people: a high rope garden, a mini golf course, trampolines, children's make-up, a carousel, even a Ferris wheel… and much more! The atmosphere was correspondingly exuberant, especially since the weather also played along.
All employees were able to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and let themselves go really well on that day. Shift schedules and weekend services were adjusted accordingly so that everyone could be included.
What a roaring celebration! We talked to acquaintances, met friends and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. All I can say is, "Thank you, thank you, thank you" – or, in Udo Vetter’s words, "Wow, wow, wow!

A celebration for all
Overwhelmed and full of thanks, the two managing directors Peter Sölkner and Thomas Otto showed up in their speeches. They emphasized their gratitude for the great effort – and that all guests should feel really good to celebrate themselves and their collective successes.
So did Udo J. Vetter, who represented the Vetter families with his two sisters Cornelia Vetter-Kerkhoff and Bianca Vetter:
Vetter’s strength and success is largely due to our 6,600 motivated and experienced employees worldwide. They are our greatest asset. Without them, we would not be able to work reliably for our customers, whose patients worldwide rely on us. This is why we would like to thank our employees and their families for their dedication and support. We work together, and today we celebrate together.

Celebrate together and do good
Also at the Family Festival, Vetter demonstrates once again a sense of social responsibility: all the food left over at the festival went to foodsharing e. V. With its many volunteers, the association is committed against the waste of leftovers and sorted food.
What a great event! The Vetter Family Festival 2024 was an absolute highlight and will be remembered by all participants for a long time to come!
