No time to be bored. The Vetter Kids fall holiday program

Once again, the Vetter Kids vacation childcare program provided many exciting activities during the brief fall holidays. It gave parents a much needed break and promised tons of fun for the children.

The Vetter holiday program kicks off a colorful fall

Balancing children, family and work is challenging – especially during the school holidays. Fortunately, this has proven to be one of our strengths, as demonstrated by the Vetter Kids holiday programs that we’ve made available to the children of our employees in the past several years.

This fall also saw a myriad of options, with something for every child:

  • At DigitalKids – a program run by Vetter IT as part of the Vetter Kids holiday program – the children learned programming skills and expanded their knowledge. The range of classes offered catered to their know-how. The children learned how to code in a fun way with the help of block-based visual programming languages like Makecode and Scratch. As part of DigitalKids, the “expert” kids also had the chance to learn the Python programming language. They saw the results directly in real time on the Calliope Mini and Calli:Bot2 microcontrollers. Both children and trainers had a blast!
  • Young clowns and artists were on show at the Moskito circus school, where the children could try their hand at juggling, acrobatics, and clowning around.
  • Things got very colorful in the Farbspuren Studio: the young artists were given free rein to let their creativity soar and try out various painting techniques.
  • Another classic is Power the Ball, which is all about having fun while moving your body. The children learned about what it means to play fair and have team spirit while doing different sports.
  • Much fun was to be had at the FIRLEFANZ Langenargen daycare. The kids did arts and crafts, went on excursions, and played lots of games.
  • And naturally, play was top of the agenda at the Ravensburger Spieleland. The amusement park has always been a kid’s favorite and was a real highlight this fall holiday.

The children and their parents were as excited as ever about the huge range of activities on offer. 127 kids signed up for the four days of vacation care – this is a great sign that shows us how valuable the Vetter Kids vacation activities are for families.
