I was looking for a new job. Vetter sounds exciting. But which position would be right for me? What is it like to work in pharmaceutical production? And how can I apply? Jan Breimaier had exactly these questions. Today, the 24-year-old former installation technician works in production at the Schützenstrasse site. The key to his new job: the Vetter Career Center.
Jan Breimaier saw no future as an assembly worker within a Swabian automotive supplier. He talked to a colleague about possible opportunities and was then put in touch with his colleague’s sister-in-law who worked at Vetter. She gave him a good tip: “Why don’t you stop by the new career center? You can ask questions with no strings attached and apply directly.”
And no sooner said than done. Before coming in, Jan clicked through the job openings on the Vetter careers page. He arrived at the Career Center with an application and three interesting positions in hand. The rest took care of itself. Recruiter Anna-Lena Keckeisen took the time to introduce the company and answer all his questions. Together, they created a candidate profile and scanned the documents he brought with him.
“I remember that I walked out the door with a good feeling.”
An online interview followed about two weeks later, followed by an invitation to an open house – and since October, Jan Breimaier has been part of the Vetter team. He talks about his first few days at work, how well everything was planned, the fun he’s had with his colleagues, and the effective onboarding in production: “I was able to hit the ground running, also thanks to the personal tips and valuable advice I received from my colleagues. I’m genuinely surprised in the best way.”

Who should come to the Vetter Career Center?
Anyone interested in a job can stop by on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m for advice on job openings, working conditions, and requirements – no appointment needed.
Where do I need to go?
The Career Center is located at Eywiesenstraße 5 at our Ravensburg Vetter Verwaltung (RVV) site. There is free parking in the Oberschwabenhalle parking lot just a few minutes' walk away.
What do I need to prepare?
Basically nothing. You can bring your documents with you, but you’re also welcome to come in spontaneously, no preparation necessary. There may be a short wait. If you have specific questions, we can put you in touch with someone from the relevant department – also virtually.
There is also a hotline for applicants. Still, many people like how informal the career center is and how easy it is to make personal contact. We’ve welcomed close to 200 interested people to the career center – and so far we’ve received about 80 applications.
