Always setting the pace: our teams excel in sports!
We believe that exercise and sports are important to a healthy lifestyle. That's why we offer our employees a variety of benefits to help them stay fit and healthy. We’re pleased that together as a team, we are fueling excitement for sports. Two large – and excellent – teams took part in the 2024 City Cycle and the ZF Corporate Run. And this year, we’re especially happy to report that colleagues from the US also took part!
Running smoothly: Vetter at the ZF Corporate Run
This year, we had the second largest team at the ZF Corporate Run in Friedrichshafen. We are especially proud that six colleagues from the US were among the 107 virtual runners. So, whether virtually or live on site in Friedrichshafen, our team delivered an outstanding performance: in addition to placing 2nd in the "Largest Team" ranking, we are delighted to have placed 2nd with our apprentice superstars, 5th with our mixed team, 10th with Vetter men's team and, above all, to have received an impressive 1st place with our RedHeads women's team. Sina Rieger also came third in the women's solo competition – a fantastic achievement for which congratulations are in order. It is this spirit that characterizes our team and makes the ZF Corporate Run so special. We can’t wait for next year's event!
Accumulating kilometers with City Cycling
Good for the environment, good for all: every kilometer biked instead of driven is a good kilometer. Once again, many of us pedaled our way during the 21 June and July days of the 2024 City Cycling initiative, and the results could hardly have been better. The Vetter team collectively cycled 75,915 kilometers, securing 1st place in the city of Ravensburg – and saving 12.6 tons of CO2. And, with 338 active cyclists, we also had the second largest team in the district. It’s a great achievement of which we are very proud, and one that we’re happy to reward. To those who cycled over 30 kilometers, we will be randomly giving away 30 vouchers from the Weltladen Ravensburg worth €20 euros each. It’s a little token of our appreciation for contributing to our amazing results. We hope this will inspire more of you to get on the saddle next year.
