Henryk Badack
Henryk Badack has been a member of the Managing board since January 2025 and is responsible for the Quality and Development Divisions. He brings with him a wealth of experience as Senior Vice President of Technical Service and Internal Project Management during his 20-year tenure in the pharmaceutical industry. With the exception of a brief interruption, he has been part of the Vetter family business since 2003 and has in recent years made a significant contribution to the success of our global sustainability initiatives.

Titus Ottinger
In January 2025, Titus Ottinger assumed responsibility for the Finance and Controlling Department. After studying at Hohenheim in Germany, he began his professional journey by joining Ernst & Young and the Thales Group. He became part of the Vetter family in 2004. He built up the controlling department, supervised the implementation of SAP, and was responsible for risk and insurance management. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Finance & Controlling. He is leveraging his extensive experience to promote Vetter's sustainable growth.
Our shared goal is to carry Vetter’s success from the past and present into the future. As a company with great responsibility, we need a solid foundation from which we can reliably supply life-enhancing drugs to people all around the world.
Titus Ottinger, Finance and Controlling
Thomas Otto
Thomas Otto has been part of the family business since 1990 and was appointed as Managing Director in 2002. He is leveraging his 35 years of Vetter experience to sustainably drive the company’s growth globally, alongside the other managing directors. His areas of expertise are pharmaceutical production, technology, technical service and internal project management. After completing his studies at the Technical University of Stuttgart in Germany, he served in various capacities at Vetter, including as Head of Packaging Development and as Vice President, Research and Development.
The world has changed during my 20-plus years as Managing Director, but our objective has stayed the same: to get high-quality, vital medicines to the people who need them as quickly as possible. I am proud to be able to fulfill this mission with an exceptional team – in Ravensburg, and around the world.

Carsten Press
Carsten Press has been responsible for Supply Chain Management and Human Resources as Managing Director since January 2025. He brings over 25 years of experience in management and international roles at companies such as Siemens and Infineon, along with more than 15 years at Vetter. He most recently served as Senior Vice President, Global Sales Organization & Supply Chain Management is now also tasked with managing the sustainable growth of the family-owned business. The Managing Director is a graduate of the Technical University of Berlin in Germany and the Executive Leadership Development Program at Babson College in the US. He is committed to developing employees and fostering an optimal work environment.
It is our employees and their excellent contribution who form the heart of Vetter. My job is to create a conducive environment so that people at Vetter can feel at ease and enjoy working here as part of the Vetter family.

Peter Sölkner
As Managing Director, Peter Sölkner has been responsible for ensuring the sustainable growth and development of the family business since 2008. His expertise lies in corporate development and global sales. He brings a wealth of experience from leading positions in key account management and global supply chain. Before joining Vetter in 2003, Sölkner worked in R&D at Sartorius AG and Sartorius North America, Inc. He serves on a number of advisory boards and is an industry advisor to private equity companies in the English-speaking world.
As Managing Director of a family business, it is my ambition to combine tradition with progress. I believe that with foresight, vision, and an awareness of the essential, we can forge a path forward that benefits our 6,600+ employees and contributes to sustainable growth across all aspects of society, whether social, environmental, or economic.
